I am in Introduction to Visual Arts! In class we will do a lot of things for example weekly sketches, drawing, and some ceramics! In the picture above I made a self portrait of myself using black and white! The purpose of this project was to use positive and negative space and to use ink pens while doing it! I started out by picking out words that I wanted to base my face expression on(I chose with the sunshine)! Then I would have a picture taken on my face, then print it in back and white. Then I would trace it over the paper with my words on it! Then I would use the ink pens to fill in the positive and negative space! I enjoyed this project because I liked using the ink pens because I have never used them before!
